The core function of VOX

release date:2025-09-28
The specific working logic and practical value of VOX are as follows:

1. Automatic activation: When the radio’s microphone detects a voice (or sound) that exceeds a preset volume threshold, it will automatically switch to the transmission mode and send out the signal.
2. Automatic deactivation: After the voice stops (or drops below the threshold) for a set delay time, the radio will automatically switch back to the receiving mode, waiting for incoming signals.
3. Scenario adaptation: It is particularly useful in scenarios where both hands are occupied (such as driving, operating machinery, or emergency rescue), allowing users to focus on work while ensuring smooth communication, thus improving efficiency and safety.
4. Adjustable parameters: Most digital radios with VOX function support adjusting sensitivity (to avoid false activation by ambient noise) and transmission delay (to prevent signal interruption due to short pauses in speech), adapting to different environmental and usage needs.
